Set Up Zendesk in Kizen

Configure your connection between the Zendesk platform and Kizen to use live Zendesk data in Agentic Workflows.

Overview

Setting up the connection between the Zendesk® platform and Kizen is a two-step process. First, you provide your Zendesk subdomain as an integration secret. Next, you follow an OAuth process, which redirects you to the Zendesk platform to assign permissions to the integration. Once you've completed these tasks, you can use Zendesk data in Agentic Workflows.

Before You Begin

To set up Zendesk in Kizen, you need:

  • Any paid Zendesk support plan or plan with access to the Zendesk API

  • A Zendesk admin account

  • A Kizen admin account

To set up Zendesk in Kizen:

1

Add the Kizen user to your Zendesk team

If you yourself are the Kizen user, you can skip ahead to Step 2. However, if you aren't the Kizen user, and the Kizen user doesn't yet belong to your Zendesk team, be sure to add them to the team in the Admin Center, and assign them either the Agent or Admin role.

Note: If you make the Kizen user a Zendesk admin, they can complete this setup process.
