# Set Up Zoom in Kizen

{% hint style="success" %}
**Audience:** Admins, Developers, Solution Architects

**Purpose:** Explains how to configure the Zoom integration at both the business and user levels to schedule Zoom meetings, retrieve transcripts and audio file links, and sync your Zoom calendar in
space.vars.Kizen\_company\_name

{% endhint %}

## Overview

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Caution:** This setup reflects Kizen's default configuration. Your administrator may have customized your layout, so columns or navigation may appear differently. Trial accounts may have limited features.
{% endhint %}

To schedule Zoom meetings, work with transcripts and links to audio files in
space.vars.automations
, and include Zoom meetings in your
space.vars.Kizen\_company\_name
calendars, you must first set up the Zoom integration. Setup happens in two stages:

* **Authorize your Kizen business to work with the Zoom integration.** Setup at the business level requires a Zoom account with administrator privileges.
* **Authorize the individual Zoom accounts of each user of the integration.** These Zoom accounts don't need any special privileges.

Each setup is independent of the other, and you don't need to complete them both if you don't need access to the full range of integration features.

For more information, see the [Zoom - Beta](/docs/integrations-and-plugins/integrations/zoom-beta.md) overview.

## Before You Begin

Before you enable the Zoom integration, ensure you have:

* An active Zoom account with administrator privileges to schedule meetings and access recordings for Zoom users in your organization
* A Zoom account with or without administrator privileges for each individual user of the integration
* An administrator account in
space.vars.Kizen\_company\_name

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** For access to the complete range of features in the integration, use paid Zoom accounts. Basic accounts don't support cloud recording or transcription.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://developer.kizen.com/docs/integrations-and-plugins/integrations/zoom-beta/set-up-zoom-in-kizen.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
